The swimming pool facility in Požarevac is a competitive solution of a team of architects. The functional organization of the swimming pool is in accordance with the Regulations for this type of facilities, with an emphasis on the separation of “clean” and “dirty” user paths. In addition to the accompanying facilities of the pool such as showers and changing rooms, the facility also provides facilities such as a cafe, management offices and the like.

The facade is designed to fit in the surrounding environment in the best way, but at the same time to symbolically represent the function of the object.

The street facade is designed in a strict geometric rhythm with plans that are emphasized by facade panels in wood decor. The ground floor arrangement in front of the building followed the divisions on the facade, and they are also reflected in the paving and green areas, as a reflection.

The side facade and part of the rear facade are mostly glazed, but the form in this area is playful, symbolizing the shape of a wave. The wave is symbolic, but this symbolism is additionally emphasized by the fact that it is positioned on the facade, which is the border between the open and closed pool.
