The adaptation of the ground floor of a private house in Šabac involved the reorganization of the space, which will enable the elderly couple to have a completely separate residential unit, while their children stay in the rooms on the first floor.

The Investor’s requirements were: the creation of a corridor (detachment) from which access to the night zone (consists of a bedroom) and the day zone (consists of a living room with a dining room). The kitchen is accessed from the dining area. The bathroom is not part of this residential unit, but is positioned right next to it and is accessed from the ground floor corridor.

In designing the interior, the idea was to make the space reduced and refined, in warm colors with very little decoration in the form of wallpaper. The lighting accompanied the overall pleasant atmosphere.
