Position caused the landscaping of the surrounding area. The aim was to comply with the church canons by which the main entrance to the house of worship should be located in the west. This arrangement caused the concealment of main entrance, relative to the dominant streets – Partizanska and Dositej Obradović.

Seemingly disadvantage proved to be a great quality, because the space in front of the church got the intimate character of the square, intended serenity and meditation after prayer.

Through the design of paved surfaces, it was pursued that object gain in importance. The concept is designed in a way that the eastern apse becomes imaginary center from which extend concentric circles. In this way, metaphorically, the church becomes the epicenter of events in the village. The dynamism of the composition is further achieved by intertwining paved with green areas and decorative stones, as well as using different materials on the pavement.
