The interior of the apartment for one person in Belgrade was challenging since the Investor’s request was to visually separate the “open space” organization of the kitchen and the living room. For this reason, it was important to achieve functional and visual separation, but at the same time not to additionally reduce the space of the living room.

The division is made by a parapet wall on which a folding wall-mounted dining table is mounted. A perforated partition made of colored MDF creates a visual separation of these two functional units. At the same time, dynamism was brought into the space, the play of light and shadow, and the brightness of the apartment itself was not reduced.
