The interior of the “Apartment 48” in Šabac was designed for a young married couple. These are young business people who mostly work from home.
The apartment is located in a new building in the wider city center and includes an entrance hall, toilet, living room with dining room and kitchen as part of the living area. The night area consists of a hall, a bathroom, a laundry room and three bedrooms, one of which is intended as a study. All rooms open onto a roof terrace with a view of the city and Mount Cer. The subject of the project was the living area, toilets and master bedroom.
The desire of this couple was a simple interior in beige shades, with ambient light and comfortable furniture.
The living room and the kitchen were a challenge since they form a single space, and the design of the kitchen had to fit in the best way with the design of the rest of the living room. The role of the island and the dining table was to connect these two units but also to hide the view towards food preparation area. Wall coverings in the living room are panels whose role is to bring dynamism and warmth to the space. Natural quartz refined the island and part of the kitchen. The bedroom is in shades of white and light gray, with a large mirror on the wall opposite the window, in order to visually increase the area of the room.
